Help! i'm injured

A week ago I felt a tight cramp in my right calf while doing some speedwork. I took 5 days off from running, I felt recovered but a little tight when I went for a run yesterday. I almost immeadiately felt pain when I landed on my foot. After a mile of easy jogging and stretching I stopped. Today the base of my calf muscle has a goose egg where the tendon attaches to the calf. Its sore when I try to stretch it. I will ice and back off the running. Can I still bike and swim if it only hurts when I run? I am worried because I'm 6 weeks out from my first Olympic tri and I was pretty well prepared for it. Thanks for any words of wisdom.

No, I live in a rural area, Mostly P.A. and general doctors.

How about a good Veterinarian??
Check with your General first, then you may need to travel to see somebody sports specific. :D
