Hey all you Milwaukeeans out there! What running shoe store would you reccomend in the Milwaukee area? My last several long runs have left my left foot completely asleep 3 miles into the run and I have a oly coming up in 2 weeks!! I need a quick remedy!! Thanks!

One of the popular ones is Rodiez's Running Store
10903 W. Lincoln

Rodiez's - 10903 W. Lincoln (1 block west of Hwy 100 on Lincoln) would be my first choice. If you wear NB and know in general what shoe you're looking for, the New Balance store on Bluemound in Brookfield is OK. But in my experiences at both places, Rodiez's had the more helpful staff.

I am on the East side of Milwaukee. I am headed out to Columbia, MD for the Columbia triathlon. I raised money for the Ulman Cancer Fund which is based out there and for this particular program, this is their first event, so it's home based. I have heard many bad things about that course, I'm scared! Will you be doing the Pewaukee Lake tri?

I'm in Tosa. I'll be doing the Pewaukee sprint tri on July 16, but not the Pewaukee Lake tri on 7/22. I did the Oly in that race last year.

Good luck in MD.

I've done that one twice before - fun race. I'm doing the Spirit of Racine HIM the following weekend so I'm skipping Pewaukee.
Good luck at the Columbia triathlon - let us know how you do.
