Its great to hear that your training is rewarding you in many ways. Good luck and have fun!

I just had a milestone personal victory today that I hope I can share without sounding like I'm boasting. If I come across like that, I apologize in advance.
I have worked very hard in the off-season and Spring on my cycling - a lot weights, hill repeats, intervals, etc., under the direction of my Ironman coach, and I've definitely picked up a step or two over the last several years, especially on the hills. And I think it has started to get me noticed on my triathlon team group rides.
Today I just got invited by the elite A group (I mean, the REAL A group - the 23- 24mph avg in a 40k monsters) to ride with them tomorrow on a 100-mile hilly ride.
I don't know whether I am more flattered or nervous
Wish me luck!
Speed hurts; how fast do you want to go?
