I have had major ear trouble in my life (tubes, ruptured ear drum, etc.) and hate turning my head while swimming b/c I generally end up with water in my ear which I can barely stand. What are the very best ear plugs out there?

I use the silicone ear plugs. Work great and last. Usually a three pack will last me a season.

I started out with the stiff plugs that look like a mushroom but switched over the moldable silicone kind. I much prefer the moldable type.

This brand is pretty good: Mack's earplugs. They seem to keep their stickiness longer than others that I've tried.

Good Luck.

I use the Speedo Rubber ear plugs and love them. You can cut them to size and I find them very comfy. I have tried the silicon ear plugs and they didn't work for me.

They are pretty cheap, so buy a couple styles to see what works for you.
