The bike for me.....
does it fit?

That's a good bike. Fairly popular. Do make sure it fits. The Giants I believe come in fewer size choices (i.e. S, M, L), so make sure the geometry will fit your body and style of of riding. See if the bike shop will do a fitting 1st, then recommend bikes based on the fitting or customize the Giant to fit properly.
To really enjoy and get the most of your riding, a proper/comfortable fit is key.
I ride Giant...TCR1 ( I like aluminum) it's a combi of dura ace and Ultegra. I love it...it's my third Giant,so I'm a believer.
Do make sure you get a good fit. I ride a Small becausse on a medium I'm just a bit overextended.
Anyway...good choice.

Hey guys thanks for the info, the bike shop does a bike fitting which I am having on the weekend....looks like I'm getting the TCR Comp 2, should leave me with some room for upgrades in the future as well!!

Hey guys I am new to triathlon and am about to buy a bike. I am going to buy a regular road bike as this seems the best option for me.
The one I have in mind is a Giant TCR Composite...probably kit it out with ultegra group set and some mavic aksium wheels..what do people reckon...sound like a good starting point?
Cheers
