That's the bike I have and I love it. The one thing I'm looking at upgrading are the brake calipers and pads, as I feel that they are not quite up to what I need for my hill training. I paid 1050 for mine, I have a triple. That is the suggested retail and has been for a few years, so look at what comes stock on the bike vs. what this guy is trying to sell. He shouldn't have paid 1300 for the stock.
Though I have an awesome tri bike I am considering purchasing a road bike for my training rides, especially since most of my training rides are in very hilly areas. I've talked with a couple people about whether or not I should get a straight-up road bike along with my tri bike and they said that it would probably be wise. I was looking on Craigslist and found a 2005 Specialized Allez Elite for $800. According to the seller the bike was originally $1300. The bike measures at a 54. I'm currently riding a 52 but when I was measured while buying my bike I was told I can ride a 52 or 54. So, would this be a wise decision?
