Is there an option to attach spinning blades on both sides so you not only pass your opponents but shred them to pieces at the same time?

That's pretty funny. I should bring this to my russian class!

Got that ad too and forwarded it to a few folks...what a hoot!
Would like to see the Bastogne model though...My Dad fought there during the the BIG ONE and in his honor I'd love to have a set!

Sorry. It was an April Fools Joke from World Cycling. They must have removed the URL today. Imagine a pair of nice HED wheels...made out of cast iron and weighing around 50lbs...

Those monster wheels remind me of the bikes that we used in Maui to ride down Mount Haleakala.
The bikes weigh like 60 lbs and come complete with drum brakes!
Basically they take you up in vans to the top of this 10,000 foot mountain and you coast down to sea level in a little over 25 miles.
That was a blast, except they made all the bigger guys ride at the back to keep from coasting away from the pack. A friend and I would stop and let the group get ahead and then fly back to the pack (until we got in trouble anyway).
