getting started for first tri

Depends on what you consider inexpensive. Most of the major manufacturers have good bikes in the $1,000-$1,200 dollar range. Inexpensive compared to their high end stuff at $8-$10,000 :) Trek, Cervelo, Felt are very popular and get good reviews. If you're looking for something less than that and good you might be better off used. Look at eBay or even check around with the Tri clubs in Atlanta. Lots of triathletes in your neck of the woods, could be some looking to sell a bike or two. You can also get 10% off TriSports.com using coupon code TF2006 for your other needs.

I am just getting started in tri and would like to find some good equipment for as inexpensive as possible. I am finding that good and inexpensive doesn't really exist. If anyone knows of any online websites that offer good deals it would be appreciated.
