There’s a lot of talk about using HR while training. I was wondering if anyone had any information on what your HR should be during different length races. I probably wouldn’t wear my HRM for anything shorter than a HIM, but it would be helpful during the bike to know about what my HR should be, and during the first couple miles of the run (my first half my pace during the run dropped from 8:00 minutes/mile to 10:30). If anyone has any suggestions either straight numbers, formulas or percents of max’s I would greatly appreciate the knowledge.
