I've written a post, and I'm back to blogging. But this new site is hurting my brain. Is there a tutorial for it anywhere yet? I miss reading posts of everyone, and I can't find a way in the new system to see the latest posts. I thought I saw one the other day...

I am somewhat technical and there is definitly a learning curve.
A tutorial waould help,
and perhaps a foot massage??

Okay, I'll settle for just a tutorial.

Thanks, :D

If you click Blogs up above then it will give you a list of the latest blogs that are feeding into it.

Yes, this is the new page for the latest aggregated posts. http://blogs.trifuel.com/

It allows for posts from other sites so members with blogger or typepad or whatever can be included. it crawls a list of feeds evry couple hours.

I look into creating some tutorials. Anything in particular you have questions about, aside from the aggregation?

hmmm I wonder if that link is sometimes different... I tried it earlier (I think from another part of the site) and didn't get there. Got it now... thanks!

oh no only every couple of hours? *sigh* my addiction will have to slow down ;)

Umm... is there a way to add to the aggregation? Maybe how to do that. Since it looks like not much customizing can be done yet, that will have to wait, too.

Not sure I follow, just adding you to the list? Your posts should start showing up. I just did an update manually.

Are you talking about something else?

Hey beads, I don't think you have a blog on the new site, do you??? Did you want one?

That would be cool! I just have to make time to write to it. :D

I was being very unclear, and confused. Just ignore me. But say I decide to use a blogger or similar blog instead of the trifuel.net one -- would I just PM you to get it added? I'm considering going that route as I like the customization stuff and so far miss the sidebar of info on the person who's blog it is on trifuel.net. I sometimes forget who I'm reading about =)

Ah. yes. Just PM me or drop the feed URL in this thread and I'll take out the trifuel.net and add the blogger.

That's one of main reasons I added this new aggregation system. I can't compete with the blog offerings of Google and others, just a little smaller and not quite the budget :D. So find a system that works for you and shoot over the feed URL and we'll get it up and running.

Awesome... thanks. The one you have in place is great, and I really like the interface for adding posts. I'm just a color-geek and need to hit that fix sometimes, too (and LiveJournal has been spoiling me in that regard, but I do want a separate focused Tri one) :)
