Some people from the club and I did some transition work and brick training. 5 mile ride-1 mile run x 3. It was nice to mix things up a little bit from the ordinary. It was cold too (temps in the lower 40s upper 30s with the wind), but that made the workout feel that much better after it was over.

Ok dumb question I know but what are tempo runs and what is running with accelrations? Is running with accelerations exactly what it sounds like?

Tempo run is running 80% or greater of HRmax for the entire run and accelerations may also be defined as "cruise intervals" running at a faster pace for a period and then going back to the original speed.
