Hi, im stuck between which type of aerobar to get. Im looking for one for a triathlon im doing (olympic) but unsure whether to go for the jammer gt or t2+ (profile designs). I see the t2 is a longer flatter design but im not sure how legal this is for triathlon or how benficial in terms of speed and comfort

Depends on your bike set up. Road bike? Jammers. Tri bike? T2s The T2s are waaay to long for a road bike application. I just got mine last week for my E7. Great bars, just not for a road bike.

Triguy...how much adjustability (mainly rearward direction) do the T2's have?

Quite a bit. you can slide the arm back in the bracket five inches untill you hit the internal routing outlet. Then the arm rests are like all other profiles with the three holes. Youd have to have some seriously long arms to utilize all the length these things offer.

Ive got LONG arms, and am getting a shorter stem on Friday to polish off the fit.

I don't have them, but checked them out at the LBS. They look pretty decent, especially with the T2 wing. I'm still completely in heaven with my Bontgrager Race XXX Lite Carbon Aerobar :p

Oooooh. Aaaaah. Nice bars, I just dont like the upturned bars at all. I had hacked my Aerolites so my hands sat on top of my shifters. The position is infinitely more comfortable.

I had the t2's on my road bike for the last 3 months or so. They worked great. They actually fit quite well for me. The wrist position takes a little bit of time to get used to it, but I really like the look and feel of that downward position. I'd go with the t2's if I were in your spot.

i have the HED on my tribike with the flat or S-Bend extensions...i use to have the profile design cabon x and i to hate the upturn...i say, no matter what..in my opinion...go with a flatter bar....i have ridden a bike with jammers, and i hated them...killed my wrists

If you get a flat, and don't have a tube, Suck it up and run it in!!!
