Pennsylvania races...anthracite or steelman?
I just signed up for the international distance try in Q-town. I have never done a tri before so I can't compare it to any others .
The roads around the lake are rolling hills. No major hills, but not alot of flat areas either. My friend has ridden the area and said there shouldn't be any climbs longet than 3 or 4 minutes.

Did Anthracite a few years back ('03)and am thinking about this year...
It's a great race...I love the swim in Mauch Chunk lake..the bike is never boring and is brutal..The hills, the high speed decents... and the run make for a very memorable race...I loved it. And Jim Thorpe is a great town to hang in...The race organizers did a good job too.
Couldn't tell you about Steelman...

I'm planning a schedule and have a conflict on July 16th.
Does anyone have any input on either Anthracite in Jim Thorpe or Steelman in Quakertown?
I'd appreciate any suggestions
Thanks
