I know for most of you this is probably an obsure event, being in southeastern NM - far from Albuquerque - but I'm hoping there is a New Mexican out there that can help.

My first tri is going to be the Milkman Tri in Dexter this year. Its still early, but I can't get a good feel for the swim leg. Depending on where you see it listed the swim leg is either 1/2 mile or 500M. Does anyone know which it is. I'm training for 800M, but would like to be sure of the distance - for my mental training.
