Anybody ride em? Know someone that rides em? Tons of reviews for the expensive stuff, but I am looking at the budget aero path for now.

i tried a pair recently when i was looking for an aero front wheel for those very windy days,i usually ride HED.3's. the jet is a good wheel but i like the bontrager carbon aero because they have better hubs (swiss made) and roll a lot better. The jet is a good wheel but for money handeling and feel i could not go past the bontragers.

Um.. the Bontrager Carbon Aeros arent exactly a budget wheel. Not by a long shot. I could get a set of Hed 3s for that much money. I already have the select aeros, with a 30mm rim depth, and theyre not bad, but i am looking for a deeper dish wheel for race day. The Jet 60s are less than 1/2 the price of those carbon rims...

umm yes they are, i got front and rear bontrager carbon aeros with a race casette and vittoria timetrial slicks on both wheels for the price of 800 aussie dollars. You just have to shop around know how to strike a bargon. The front and rear jet 60 was 1400 for just the wheels themself.
my advise go to every bike store you can.

My LBS has the Bontragers for $1200 (including my 10% discount). The starting bids on ebay are $400.
You're saying you got yours for $587usd? I'll paypal you the $$ and send me a pair... assuming theyre not a rebadged knock off from the middle east or something. The wheelset was designed as a pro wheel. Not a budget wheel. Which would explain why they roll better than the budget heds

I dunno why the Heds are that much over there. http://www.trisports.com/hedjet65front.html

Anyone else tried the Heds out?

I prefer "thrifty" :p

Seeing as those Z99's are 4/5th the price of my dream bike, I think I'll pass! No one seems to carry the Flashpoint line, I wonder if they are even for sale yet. Gottaridebikes.com didnt have hed, and all their mid range wheels were 30mm, which is what ive got now.

HA! I'm picturing what the knockoff wheels from the middle east would look like...something akin to the "counterfeit mini"
