Does anyone ride a Griffen Vulcan?
I don't have one, but I did take one out for about a 10 mile test ride. Awesome bike, bottom line. Very smooth, very light, very quick. It has great power transfer.

I dont, one of my close friends does. Nice bike. There's a LOT of nice bikes in that price bracket, though. The dude def. stands behind his product. I know this first hand from helping my buddy get his bike back together after it was shipped state side from being overseas.

I've been riding a Vulcan for 5 years now and still love it; no plans to replace it. I am quite small, however, and I do not know whether they are appropriate for someone your size. Only the LBS can tell you that.
The ride is light and stiff. VERY aero, great in winds and also great climbing.
Thanks for the replies, everyone. I have been looking for a while and have narrowed the choice down to the Vulcan or a Felt DA700, both dura-ace equiped. Both seem like awesome bikes....now is it going to be the blue one or the black one........ ahh, that's the tough choice ;) hmmm......
Hey expat, when you say "VERY aero" do you mean the bike or it's ability to make the person aero? Unfortunately, my LBS does not sell either of them (I'm deployed to Bahrain with the Navy), just Trek....

I think if you call Griffen, you might find yourself very satisfied with the conversation, if you havent done so already. My buddy with the Vulcan is a Marine, and Griffen is awesome with the military. The bike's construction and geometry are both very aero. No quite as aero as some carbon frames, but thats just due to material constraints.
