Yeah doesn't look too local to me. But I think it would be fun to do a bike race that involved a ferry.

I think it is more of a tour but there will be some serious cyclists there. It should be fun indeed.

I posted this on another thread, but I did this tour 4-5 times. I think I did the very first one :eek: It's a blast. I remember getting on the subway with my bike and a group of friends in the early am and riding downtown to Battery Park. It was fun riding on all the roads and not having to dodge cars! They used the ferry back then as well - but I'm sure there weren't nearly as many people. I'm seriously thinking of coming up for the tour this year - I didn't know they still had it going on.

I'll be registering in a couple of days. I am trying to get some local trifuelers on board too. When it gets closer we can figure out a plan to meet up. :D

I'm flying in on Saturday afternoon and meeting some friends and family for dinner in lower Manhattan. I have some friends staying at the Hampton Inn on Pearl Street. I'm staying in SI and will take the ferry over in the am and meet everyone at the hotel. Lmk what your schedule looks like and see if we can plan to meet up. We have a group of about 7 people riding at all different levels.......
