Hey guys (girls too, but guys may be a little more appropriate :D ),

I am in need of a new saddle for my ride. Any suggestions? Don't want to spend a fortune, and may end up taking the ebay route, but just looking for some ideas.

Just bought a koobie for $79 USD. I got the au enduro, there are some higher priced models but I love this one so far. Much better thane my Bontrager Race xlight.

The key to this one is it has the cutout all the way down the middle so you don't crush your junk and go impotent.

Bought it at koobie.com

I've seen my San Marco Triathgel new on ebay for $50. I got one for my mtb! ONce the gel is broken in, these saddles ROCK. Of course, I've gotta include the standard "saddle fit everyone differentyl, and it might not fit you" disclaimer in here.

Life is short. Play hard and get dirty doing it.

If someone can figure out which saddle will work for me and not make me grimmace, I'll give you a big fat wad of cash. ;)

I've struggled with saddle issues forever. I'm comfy now on a Terry Women's Butterfly Tri saddle but I'm not using my aerobars. I'm going to my LBS soon to install the bars and do a fitting so hopefully my girlbits will be happy after that.

I've seen the Koobie and am interested in trying it if this Terry doesn't stack up. I've also invested in a DeSoto neoprene cover (think I got it at Tri Zone?) and even thought it's not super thick, it really seems to add a nice layer of cushion.

Good luck!!!!

I use the profile tri stryke, it is far more comfortable then any seat I have used.

I think they run for around $75.

whatever you get, strongly consider a triathlon speicifc saddle. I used to TT on a road bike with clip ons and a sella san marco aspide. It was comfortable for road riding but not the aero position. My tri bike has a quintanaroo saddle, and it makes a world of difference.
