I was 37 three months ago and this summer when I am applying for next year's races I am going to have to check the box 40-45. What a trip.

Do I need to change my Trifuel age group on Jan 1 next year as well? I will have just turned 39!!!

I'm not entirely pleased about going from 18 to 20 in one year either...

Anyone under the age of 30 needs to shoosh! I am actually looking forward to getting a little older when it comes to triathlons because there will be fewer fast participants in my local races. I might stand a chance at a medal!!! Woo Hoo! Now that's a positive spin!

It is a shame that aging has damaged your self esteem so badly :D

I am in better shape than I was 5 years ago. With age comes wisdom and guile.

Trimedic-

That's part of the reason I stick around - one of these days, there will be only three of us in my age group! :D

I thought that viagra was necessary as one got older  Hey, I am pretty competative at 40 and gonna be 41 this summer. Triathlons let one get better with age. It's all like a good wine. We get better as we get older in this sport, relatively speaking. Hey, I am in better shape now than I was when I was 30.

Tis true for me too - but wish that I had started doing tri's at 30 or before!

So THAT'S where it's from! The kids at school use it...and god knows they're original(sarcasm).
It was either that or "Want some cheese with that whine?",
or worse yet call someone a "sippy cup boy."

And RV! Happy one-thousandth post!
