Probably no tup to the Madtown IM..way to new to the sport to die the first year. My daughter, who swims for a local team is going to be my training partner.
Besides I need to "justify" the Trek 5200 I bought two years ago...
Thanks for the info....if you are ever in Madison look me up for a cup of coffee...
Hi there-
I'm from Madison. I just joined this forum a few minutes ago- was nice to see a Madison link for my first post :-)
I'm getting back into triathlon after drifting into other sports the last few years. I'll be doing Ironman WI. There are TONS of organized rides in town- let me know if you need any links to the info. You'll have no problem justifying that 5200!

FeFe welcome to the site and back to tri's.
I'm also doing IMWI this year - the links that you refer to are for rides doing the IMWI bike course? If so, those wouldbe great.

I was thinking more of weekly group rides that cover various routes around town. There are certainly plenty of people that cover the ironman loop any given day, but I'm not sure anyone actually 'schedules' those. Best bet to get on a egroup of people who regularly head out would probably be to join headhunters: hhmultisport.org

A little too cold here to swim outside...hate hitting those ice chunks.
Asked my 10 year old daughter is she would be my training partner..she swims competively and wants to hep her 51 year old Dad...Can't wait for the summer pools to open but for now just beginning to put in those laps.
Ridng the bike in the basement and watching the pounds melt away. Excited to be doing this as a team...
