Hello,
Since years dreaming of the triatlon me and my husband decided to take the step from "just cylicng" to the triatlon...For this season we already planned 2 cyclo's in june and july. We will start the swimming asap and after july we will start running...
Hey Welcome - It is nice doing training etc as a couple.
Just curious - Why wait until July to start running?
We all have questions - so post away!

Thank you all for welcoming me, it makes me a bit shy  (I hope I spell it write).
Why wait untill July? Because off the 2 cyclo's we are riding. I think I need all my trainingeffort for them. One is Les 3 Ballons which is 205km with 4300m "hoogtemeters" (I don't know the english word for it  ) and the other one is La Marmotte which is 174km with 5000m. My estimated time on the bicycle is up and around 10,5 hours.
But it is already difficult staying focussed for them, I really like to start "yesterday" with my swimming and runningpractices. In two weeks we will be going to Lanzarote for a cyclingstage and we sleep at CLub la Santa, so there are a lott of triatleets and my eager to start will only grow.
Thanks for the clarification - sounds like you do have a pretty full slate.
Also don't worry about writing or spelling - English is my primary (and only) language and I am barely literate! You are fine. Good luck with the training.

Hello,
Since years dreaming of the triatlon me and my husband decided to take the step from "just cylicng" to the triatlon. I always tought that my body wasn't up to being a triatlete, but now I decided that I don't know for sure unless I have tried it! While I am at the best years of my life (I will be 35 for the second time this year :o ) now is the time.
For this season we already planned 2 cyclo's in june and july. We will start the swimming asap and after july we will start running.
I have a lott of questions and I hope I will find the answers here!
Greetings Esther
