WDY Watch/Listen to while on the trainer
On the trainer - usually a Spinervals DVD or one from CTS.
On the rollers, then it is ESPN, OLN, or movies etc. Or put on the SRV (Stevie Ray Vaughan) DVD

Usually past Tours. Though I watched a documentary called "Overcoming" last weekend. Very good and inspiring. A definite DVD to have for the trainer, about the 2004 CSC Tour team.
When I use my trainer, I watch spinervals or sports on TV.
Usually I am at Tri team spin classes though, so I have some company and some loud music....yeah!!
I watch movies...watched black hawk down this weekend

Oh cool I just got "Overcoming" last week myself Tribro...very cool...Very "Inside the tour"
Usually watch TDF or do spinervals for a structured workout.
Have been through "Lord of the Rings", ALL the "Star Wars" movies (including the animated "Clone Wars.)
Sometimes, for mental toughness training I turn off the lights and bike in the dark...no music. It forces me to rattle around in my own brain for awhile and teaches to ignore the voices.(This is stupid!) (Just stop!) (Your fat, dumb and ugly...this won't help.) (You're slow!) There is no music or movies on race day.

I like watching DVD's.
Before IM I was watching the 'Lost' box set and catching up on my DVD collection.
I got the 'IM World Championships 2005' on DVD now and that is great to watch while riding on the trainer or running on the treadmill. :D
Nothing to it, but to do it
I try not to ride the trainer as much as possible but when I do I watch a movie
We can ride all year here, but on those rainy cold days like over Christmas this year the entertainment was TV, DVDs and some old tapes of the Tour. I like doing hill climbs while the guys in the tour do theirs. It gives me incentive to keep going. Other than that I hate the trainer and use it as little as possible. The toture is too much.

There is no music or movies on race day.
You know, this might sound stupid, but I noticed before all of my races started last year, the feeling in the air was one of music, constantly rising to an epic finish. That seems to be something I always remember about my races, the feeling before the race as the tension rises and you get ready to start.
Once the race starts though, that music stops and all you hear is chaos and breathing until you finish. :p

I've been reading Trifuel on my laptop and watching the Olympics. My forms suffers but I don't hate it after 15 minutes so it's worth it.

on your trainer watch the documentary Murderball - you wont want to stop riding when its over
sometimes I'll do a movie or spinervals....other times I just listen to music and imagine I'm outside...doesn't always work but it also helps me focus on technique.
Sometimes when it is snowy or cold I take out the mountain bike for a little while and goof around. It beats being stuck inside.
Nothing to it, but to do it
Man, that's so what I need to get or somethin'...a mountain bike. I could go outside more than ridin' my trainer, oh how nice that would be. ::Cough:: Anyways, when I ride I usually pop in my favorite movies (The 3 Amigos or The Jerk) or watch Spinervales. Depends on what mood I'm in usually, need to get some videos of past tours. That def. would be a pump up for me to get on the thing. (lol)

So I recently got a bike trainer and I'm enjoying it.
I was just wondering you guys watched / listened to while riding yours?
Some of my recent viewings have included...
-The DVD version of U2's Rattle and Hum Tour (an excellent album, b y the world's greatest band)
-The Winter Olymics (fine until they start showing figure skating, boring)
-Tomas the Train (not MY pick)
-The 5th Element
