I learned 2 things In Birmingham this weekend. Southerners are polite and it does snow in Alabama. Despite the below freezing temp at the start and the ever changing elevation it was a good event. The after party was one of the best, although I think someone forgot to put out the cookie and pastry tray. Beer was on the house and there was plenty of dancing to the live band. I don't think any of the participants were dancing but their kids seemed to enjoy it.
