Maybe I'm just paranoid....
It reminds me of that great movie The Abyss, where Briggman says to Hippie, "Hippie, you think everything is a conspiracy." Then Hippie says " but Isn't it?"
Who needs a man when you have a Kuota Kalibur to wrap your legs around.
Sounds like a policy of Presumed guilty until proven innocent.
The WADA has been highly critisized because of their methods before.
Maybe they need to be examined and overhauled themselves. :(
Nothing to it, but to do it
yeah, get there blood count too, and urine samples, let them know how it feels. Don't forget the Internal examination. The one with the lighted microscopic wand.

I hope they buy me dinner first, and certainly not on the first date!!

Heras is Spanish.
Any connection with LA is purely coincidental.
Every organization has its own agenda, of course.
And, in Europe, their interests are always national interests.
Here in North America our interests are more often corporate, but we (our players) are just as corrupt.
I can't wait for the first scandal of Torino.
Let's see, speed skaters? Biathletes? I know, bobsledders testing positive for steroids!
and it all starts tomorrow.

We didn't have to wait long - 8 cross-country skiers have been suspended.
There is no proof that the athletes did anything wrong: Elevated hemoglobin can be caused by simple dehydration or the body's acclimation to mountain air. But the test result raises the possibility of blood doping with synthetic hemoglobin or transfusions to increase the oxygen in the muscles.
The International Ski Federation said Alen Abramovic of Croatia, Russians Pavel Korosteljev and Nikolai Pankratov, and Robel Teklemariam of Ethiopia had elevated levels of hemoglobin, the red blood cells that can increase endurance.
The tests were conducted by the FIS, which said the suspensions were not disciplinary, but to "protect the health of the athlete."
Athletes who fail blood tests are retested five days later.
"We are confident that five days is a sufficient time to allow for the blood values to normalize if they are the result of living at a high altitude or dehydration," said Bengt Saltin, chairman of the FIS medical committee. "However, a five-day period is not sufficient to remove the impact of EPO (erythropoietin) or blood transfusion."
Why publish this until after the second set of tests? This makes them all appear guilty - when it could simply be a matter of altitude and hydration.

Hair today, gone tomorrow
Well, now we're getting into full swing.
"Slider" Zach Lund has been banned from the Olympics, and handed a one year suspension. His crime? Taking a hair restorer medication.
And the anti-doping Keystone Kops are hamming it up in the Olympic Village. A beauty gives 2 time Olympic Champion Hermann Maier a kiss, and asks if he'll pee in a cup. A "journalist" has the same request for another contestant.

Yes, Zack was taking a hair restoration medication, finasteride. He has been taking it for 5 years. It has been a banned substance since early 2005 because it is "commonly used to mask steroids." He is at fault for not knowing it was a banned substance, as we are all responsible for what goes in our mouths. The USBSF is at fault for not making sure the athletes knew it was a banned substance and for not checking their athletes before they arrived there.
All that hard work gone due to vanity, although in his pics it doesn't look like he really needs it...yet.

Actually, I saw him in an interview last night, and wouldn't doubt that he's using it for legitimate purposes.
Banning otherwise innocent "masking" agents, and suspending athletes to "protect" them (from what?), is obnoxious. Combined with the anti-doping gestapo's new inept undercover antics, the story of the Olympics is being taken away from the great athletes who are there to compete, by cynical bureaucrats eager to grab the headlines.

Maybe its just a coincidence that they're both former teammates of Lance.
You know, its not paranoia when they really are out to get you.
