I am new triathlons and wetsuits and have tried a used rental on and wanted to get some expert opinions on it. The wetsuit is an Orca S1 (size SS) and looks brand new and has no rips, it was used on a limited basis as a rental for the past triathlon season. It is on sale for $170 canadian ($147 US).
Firstly, I was wondering if this is a good price (new retails for $240 US ($270 canadian) on the Orca website).
Secondly, this is an entry level wetsuit and I was wondering how it compares to other entry level wetsuits.
Lastly, I tried on a few other Orca and Ironman wetsuits that were also for sale and found that this one fit best but it was a little loose at the small of my back. The salesperson said that it shouldn't be an issue but for some people when the are swimming the water will flow through the back of the neck and may bulge up in this loose area. I was wondering if anyone can comment on this ?
