what are some drills I can do in the pool to get more streamline and really work on my kick. I have trouble not bending my knees and keeping my feet pointed. it seems my feet are way to low in the water and i need help. WHat do others do out there?

Last lesson I had with George Park he said I should not expel all the air out of my lungs when I breath and to practice kicking drills on my back with toes pointed inwards. Seems to have worked a bit

Using the kick board has helped emensly (sp?). In a lesson I took I was told to really relax the legs and have lots of flexibility in the knees and kick from the hips. The staying relaxed part as well as getting my chin on my chest has made me dramatically faster without any effort. Also..the buoy helps keep your feet together.

Streamline kick on your back is good if you can stay relaxed and don't start sucking in water. It helps your kick cause you can see what you do more. If your knees are breaking the surface of the water than you arer bending your knees and if you are sinking to the bottom then you kick is too deep in the water and/or not moving quick enough.

As far as more streamline drills they would all involve doing some sort of streamline kick. The main thing is to build the habbit and every time you push off a wall for a start or turn you are in a tight streamline (one hand on top of the other with biceps pressed tightly to the side of you're head), hold this off the wall start kicking and don't let go untill you are near the surface and can take a good stroke.

Also with kicking you need flexible ankles you can do stretches for your ankles. When you are doing quad stretches also stretche your ankles by pulling up on your toes trying to get them as flat to your back as possible.

Well didn't mean to write sooo much but hope this helps a little.
