Slight spin off from the "lightning" thread. Freaking POURING it is here. Real bad. A roof of a bed bath and beyond caved in this morning, my zoo is under 3 inches of water, and its lightining like nuts. Just like summer time! Rain wiped out my training last night, it will tonight, and liekly tomorrow. Hopefully the roads dry up before sunday. I can forget about MTB. No way.

ARGH!!!

Revenge for our 70 degree perfect "winter" days.

Yeah, the LA area is definitely having a good week weather-wise.
And the Bay Area had some pretty awesome weather this weekend as well!

Ya, I never thought that I would want to leave an area that has 4 distinct seasons, but it sure would be nice not to spend so much time down in the basement. Maybe look south once the kids get through school... Ahhhhh training outside year round...

If ya'll come down here, make sure that ticket is round trip and buy a return ticket for your parents and grandparents, please!

I've been talking to a lot of New Yorkers recently who want to move back home and are sorry they sold their property up there, cause now they cant afford to buy again. Our real estate prices are booming, but theyre still not on the level of CA and parts of New England.

If you like having to carry 5 bottles of water on you...and needing to stop to refill those for 4 months out of the year with our oppressive heat and humidity, sure come on down. And dont forget our evening thunderstorms for that saem time of year, you'll frequently find your after work ride rained (and lightning-ed) out. Those rumors that FL is a good place to live? Ignore them, trust me. If you dont believe me, I'll put you in contact with my coworkers, who are almost all transplanted northerners. most of em dont like it here.

Not too worry... Fl. is fine to take the kids for vacation, but I think more like somewhere in the southwest area would be a nice place to live and train.

I'd take NM, CO, or Northern Arizona. Hate the humidity and rain here.

It's from Bambi. Thumper says that Bambi is getting twitterpated. It's having a crush on someone, and all the nervousness that comes with it, and the infatuation.

Got the DVD. Thanks for the mental nudge.

So Brittda what or who are you 'Twitterpaited' over??

I think my Bambi DVD has different characters than yours. :D

Well there is the Disney version,

Then there is the version where Bambi is a blonde and Thumper is a redhead, and they have escaped from jail and are on the run from the law. They meet up on the road with Flower the biker chick who has some spare biker leathers for them to change into.
Then the 3 of them seek out justice on their own.

I think it was on Cinemax late at night.
Maybe they liked Florida, the 'Sunshine State'. (back to topic) :D

Good point, back on topic - my mind wandered off there for a minute or two.

THE HEAT! I would SO rather run when I am a bit cool rather than hot.... Which is odd since I HATE the cold and do not participate in winter sports like skiing....I exercise hot . Its probably a mental thing for me.

See what happens when you don't fully explain yourself. Beads, gets carried away with the interpretation.
