When are you starting?

Just wanted to get some ideas as to when everybody was starting their offical training. I feel like the off season went by so quick. Just drop a thread so we can see where everybody is at.

Me: Today (FEB 3rd) starts my training for a June 4th race. I'm about 18 weeks (maybe a little more) from race day. Today I'm doing a mile swim followed by a 30 min evening run.

I just finished up my 10 week Base I - training plan.
Started my Base II training plan this week - that takes me to the end of March.
Then IM specific training - IMWI is on 10-Sep.
A mere 218 days to go!

First event is a marathon on April 1'st.

i started about a month ago...im pretty much just running a ton as my first event is a half-marathon in april which will be me my first run of that length...im psyched.

I pretty much run year round. My mileage is a little lower. I play soccer during the winter for something different to do.

I'll be doing more swimming soon and start getting on the bike trainer, and hopefully if we have some nice clear days I'll go on the roads with the bike.

I just finished my second phase of base. Starting build phase next week. Half marathon in March...then a couple duathlons to get warmed up for my June race. I'm also taking a week vacation to go train away from home in April....should be cool.

I never really stopped. Sadly, there isn't much form to my "training plan". I just do it. I've been trying to do base work up until this point and next week I'm gonig to start working some speed/race pace stuff for IM CA 70.3 in March.

My month of active rest was in October. November I started training for California HIM in March and IM-CDA in June.

I did my active recovery month in Sept. and have been in training since then. My A event is in May,,,the infamous DeSoto American Triple -T 3 day event. My first ever attempt at this event.

No break. It has been such a mild winter that I've been mountain biking every single weekend. My M-F workouts have been higher mileage and less structure. I did a 10k race yesterday. I'm doing a snow shoe race in a couple weeks, and then a half-marathon in March. These are all C or B races and I train through them, but I need some racing to keep me focused.
