Bike computers with cadence and not too much are preyty easy to find.

I'd go for the cateye.

I have the cateye astrale 8 (chosen because it was cheap and does speed & distance off the rear tire, making it trainer-compatible) and it works fine. Having the wires on the bike makes it look a bit less cool, but I live.

I also have the Cateye Astrale 8. It was under 40 bucks, and works great for me, either on the trainer or on the road. The only problem I have is trying to read the display functions. But then again, I'm starting to have trouble reading billboards. GOOD-LUCK!

Great question and posts because I am also looking for a bike computer with this information. Thanks for the suggestions, I'll have to look into the cateye. Triathlon has been so bad for me, I love gaggets and there are a lot with this sport. heehee.

If you like gadets, check out the Cateye Double Wireless. I LOVE it. Averages, currents, and totals for speed, cadence, and distance. Lap function, too. Cant ask for much more.

Hey Triguy,

we are all online and having a party at the other thread.

Who needs a man when you have a Kuota Kalibur to wrap your legs around.

Same thing but if you run the wires right it isn't that noticible.
My bike is anodized black so you really can't see it anyway.

Nothing to it, but to do it

My bike is shades of blue (complete with flowers) so the black wires are very noticable, as are the zipties holding them in place.

Mine is ever so stealthy looking.

I'll give another thumbs up to the Cateye Astrale 8. It made riding on the trainer a MUCH better experience.
