LOOK cleats
If you're prone to knee pain at all you may well want the ones with float. Some people like the feeling of being locked in that you get with no float, but you're more likely to have knee pain with no float, and perfect alingment of the cleat is more important if you have no float. I'd suggest getting the ones with float, if the "sloppiness" of the float bugs you , and you aren't having knee problems you can then get the ones without float.
With float, you can move your foot (a little) and not come out of the pedal. This often helps if you have knee pain or your knees natura move in a different motion than just straight up and down.
With NO float, your foot will not move while in the pedal. most all movement would cause you to disengage the pedal.
that's what I was thinking...Thanks.

I got some Look pedals (no cleats included) on my new bike and ordered some shoes but the shoes didn't come with cleats...
I was looking online and saw some that are "fixed" and some with "float". Are there any great advantages of one over the other? If I remember right float is the abount of leeway that your foot can turn while clipped in right?
