Don't assume anything. I booked IMC lodging a year out. Do it now. Anything close to the race will fill up. You dont want to be driving any distance back, nor do you want to be walking because you couldn't get parking near by.

I made reservations at the "host hotel" around November 20th. It is a bit pricey, but really want the full experience. Plus, my wife is going to be there with our little girl, so I don't want them to have trouble seeing the sights while I am on the course (all day).

I know that it is still early but I was just wondering when people booked their accommondations for IMFL this past year and whether they have any recommendations. I assume with Panama City being a beach place there is no lack of accommodations and should have no problem with places being sold out (apart from host hotel perhaps) Am doing IM FL this year and any advice would be great. Thanks
