My schedule is pretty flexible so far so lets see what is happening late next year.

I'll be there! Watching! ;) Right down the road, so I wouldnt miss it.
I havent picked an "A" race yet, but my big race will likely be Miami Man 1/2. Season starts at St. Anthony's as part of a relay.
I'll be doing a bunch of sprints, hopefully at least 4 Olys, and maybe 2 1/2s. We'll see how this season goes, hopefully I can dodge the injury bullet this year (i think i got neough in last year to allow me to skip a few years on credit)
Life is short. Play hard and get dirty doing it.
You'd better oor I'll hunt you down and..... :D We can run together to Iona!!
Hehe. I'm not sure I'll be able to run at your pace but it will be very nice to do a long run with someone. Right now 70% of me wants to do the marathon again, guess we'll have to wait and see ;).
My big races this year are Deuces Wild Half IM and SOMA Half IM. I will also be doing a few small ones throughout Arizona
Hi all.
Malaysia does not have a very active triathlon calendar as compared to Europe or Northern America. But I do have a couple of races planned. There is a duathlon series run every year. A series of 3 races in March, May and July, so I'm planning to do those. The Powerman is in September and is also on my calendar as my A race. There's also the local Miri Olympic Distance Triathlon which I plan to complete. Cheers for sharing...
Here goes:
Duathlon in April
Duathlon + sprint tri in May
½ IM - june 4 or june 25
Olympic distance - august 13
IM distance august 26 in Almere, holland
Would you prefer to do an ½IM three weeks, or an Olympic two weeks before an IM?
7 hours of hope!
4 hours of pain!
My plans:
ING Miami Marathon this month
Wildman Oly Du in March
St. Anthony's Oly Tri in April
Rock & Roll 1/2 Iron in June
Sprint Du (Regional) in July
Clermont Oly in August (I think)
Miami Man 1/2 Iron in November
and some sprints in between
I wanted to do Powerman AL but scheduling got in my way. Definitely next year, along with IMFL.
Would you prefer to do an ½IM three weeks, or an Olympic two weeks before an IM?
I am by no means an expert, but I would go with the Olympic for the sole reason of recovery. I was training again 2 days after my 1st olympic distance race. I haven't done a Half before, but I would guess that recovery would take quite a bit more than that.
i'm psyched to have a race of each distance planned for the year:
5430 Sprint
Boulder Peak (olympic)
5430 long course 1/2 IM
IM FL
So looking forward to the races...the training is going to be a different story.
A training camp in South Carolina at the end of March.
IMCDA in June
Steelhead 1/2 in August
IMFLA in Nov.
Hm....I am not one to plan too far in advance but I registered for the Wildflower Olympic Distance on May 7th today.

I have not done it but it should be beautiful. I may do it myself. Its hot that time of year over there though, but that probably won't be a big deal for you.
