This might be a hard one, but im hoping someone has a pair. ;p I was at a race last season, and some guy was wearing some trishorts that had a mesh pouch blended into the short. It was located on the upper back part, towards the waistband. im assuming it was velcro, but it was big enough for what it looked liked to be two gel packs. What a sweet idea. Of course he was ahead of me, and I didnt have a chance to ask....But does anyone have any ideas as to who makes these, or something simliar? ;p

I have a set of Zoot Tri shorts that have a pocket on the outside of each leg. The pockets are about 4 inches in depth, and with the pocket made of Spandex, they expand pretty well. I was carrying 2 Gels in each, and a bag of Endurolytes.

Thanks Darrell. I will look into them. Do you like them as far as quality goes?

Ya many Tri-shorts have the pockets on the legs, but haven't seen any like you described having them on the back. Interesting idea.

I have a pair of Craft training shorts that have a zipper pocket right below the waistband in the back. It is a really neat idea. I haven't used them yet, but I plan on using it for a couple gels in my next race. Craft also makes a race short, but it doesn't have the pocket in the back.
