redman triathlon
Hi, I did the half and it was a well executed race. I think they are allowing more athletes this year and making it better than last years race.
thanks for the info. Definitely thinking abotu this for next year. Oklahoma isnt too far of a drive from me.
Is it really mostly flat or do they sneak in some hills?
And how is the water?
Does the half and full start together?

I'm not sure if it will be the same as 2005, but the swim was a mass start of all competitors(you could start in the water or on the beach), the bike course pretty flat with an accasional slope here and there(the wind will get you more than the hills), the run was as flat as they come(it is a paved lakeside road used only for walking, running, cycling). The bike was a 28 mile loop and the run was a 6 mile loop. I would def. recommend this race.

This was an iron distance and half-iron distance event in oklahoma. Just curious if anyone has done it. I was considering it for my first iron-distance event in 2006. I know that 2005 was the first year they had the event.
