Hey Guys/Gals

I wanted to know if you would be interested in personalized event items like T-Shirts, mugs, note pads, plaques, and so on. For example: you race an ironman, then go online and order any of the above items with the event logo, your name, finish time, photograph, and anything else you wish to put on there, such as your own text. At first this service would be available for big caliber races. Another idea: Ironman trading cards? these would have your pic, stats, and PRs on there - then you can trade these with your tri buddies and try to get Peter Reid's card.

Let me know if this is something you'd be interested in buying. Any suggestions are welcome.

Thanks

PS: although prices are not finalized, these would be MUCH cheaper than you think.

Sincerely, I think I wouldn't be interested in such stuff.

I doubt I'd be interested... although it sounds kinda neat, I have enough stuff lying around. The finisher's medal, t-shirts, and a collage of the pics from the race pretty much covers my memorabilia needs.

Isn't there a licensing issue here as IM is trademarked. And they are a bit protective of the logo.

Again, I echo what has been said. I do it for the t-shirt, possible awards and all the pictures I can con my family into taking. :) I wouldn't know what to do with the other stuff.

victoryon2feet...I'm sure the readers on this site can appreciate that we all have to earn a living, but let's not turn the site into some marketing survey with the intention of making a buck. Thanks.
