Is it worth it?

Personally I don't think a cover is going to give you anywhere near the same performance advantage as a real disc wheel. A cover will cosmetically look like a disc wheel from afar but as taut as it may be stretched on the rim, the surface will flex - and that flex is not desirable.
I think sticking to your wheels without the cover will be more practical. Not to mention that if you flat, you won't have to take off the cover to get at the valve stem (unless there's a clearance window).

I know of a few people who use the disc covers. While not quite as perfect as a true disc wheel, they DO provide a bigger advantage over a regular wheel. Especially when you consider the price point.
Life is short. Play hard and get dirty doing it.

I am currently using Spinergy Rev-X's as race wheels. I would get some better wheels but I'm a poor college student and I got a good deal on them. That's beside the point. I was thinking of putting an aero cover (from CH or Wheelbuilder) on the rear wheel (of the spinergy's) because I obviously don't have the cash for a disc. Is the aero advantage worth the $$ ?
