Merry Xmas to all again,

i m having a problem with my knee *the outer side of he right knee* and i believe its the Iliotibial Band Syndrome.

Been asking ard and managed to find an article on RunnersWolrd on how to treat it.http://www.runnersworld.com/article/0,5033,s6-78-79-0-2861,00.html

However, i was juz wondering what u guys do when ITB hits u. Also anyone has any gd articles or resources on what warming up stretches and cooling down exercises do u guys do.

Appreciate it.

good IT band stretch now and in the future-stand erect, cross your legs and reach for the floor holding the stretch 30-60 seconds then cross your legs the other way and reach for the floor again- repeat 2X Both IT bands stretched- repeat 3-4 times each day.

Don't forget hip flexors.

Remember you recently completed a marathon- and this problem surfaced. Keep that in mind for the next endurance event.
