I love Santa. He brought me Profile Design-airstryke Aerobars. Just what I wanted!!!! I also have a new tool kit for my bike with a CO2 air pump and all the fixins. And of course a nice North Face windstopper cap to keep my ears from freezing on those cold Montana running days.

He also brought me flannel PJ's.....who knows. :)

He brought me a new soft shell jacket and new long pants....gloves...and
Another pair or running shoes (very unexpected)
Three pairs of running socks....those nice ones with the Ironman logo
...and last but not least....but kindda weird, a new suit....I mean a bussines one...you know how mothers are...so she chose one for me....
I would still prefer some new bike parts...hahaha...or something more "sporty"

Well, I got the best present of all I think. My wife cashed in some of the Airmiles we have been collecting for some time now. She really thinks I might be able to make it to Kona this year so,

I got an air ticket for Kona!! Yipee!

Looks like I will be going either way, or I CAN cancel if I want. She will come along too. Her words were that it is an extra incentive to work towards qualifying this year. I think I am in trouble now. Other than that I got a new hydration belt and a pair of Addidas SuperNova runners.

Santa was good. ;)

He delivered a lovely set of Carbon Stryke Aerobars and now my road bike looks a little more triathlete-ish. ;-) Especailly with the Aerodrink bottle fore and the aerorack aft. They'll provide much needed fluid while doing one of the four SPinerval DVDs that were under the tree as well.

Oh yeah, a nifty red and black pair of cycling socks that were evidently a throw-in with the aerobars. :D

Woo Hoo! That is so great and I KNOW you will get there. Piece of cake. :)

I got a running headlamp for xmas.
A gift card which I used to buy two new pairs of shorts.
And an 85 degree, sunny Christmas Eve day which was perfect for a 1 hour run and a 2 hour ride. :p

It was a limited edition I'm afraid beads. Her idea of aerobics is swimming with dolphins and running lava trails (see pic) but I'd chase her up volcano anyday.
I'll just ask her to slow down a little bit.

For me: New speedplay pedals and shoes, and a 2006 training diary. And a lot of tennis gear (my mother apparently didn't believe me when I told her I was taking a year off from tennis to focus on triathlons!)

For my husband: Ironman Stealth wetsuit, 2006 training diary, and a Team Discovery Champs Elysee maillot jaune.

The holiday was good to me too this year! Nothing as comparable as a ticket to Kona! ;p Close though...

But, I got some:
-DESCENTE Aero-x Bib cycling shorts. (If you havent seen these things, they are incredible. Good for the jewels!)
-Some warm tights.
-Enough money to buy my Kurt Kinetic Road machine! It comes right before the rains.
-Not to mention my favorite "non-tri" gift of the year; Canon Digital Rebel XT.

I must of been a good boy this year! I got...

A nice winter/rain cycling jacket
winter cycling jersey
Cycling gloves
additional liner for gloves for COLD commutes
wool cycling socks
face mask for my morning commutes
head cover for under my helmet
three new tubes (already used one:))
earband (for not-so-cold days)

I think Santa saw that I was commuting in sub-30 degree weather without any cycling specific winter gear and felt bad for me! At times I felt like the Michelin Man on a bike...with several layers on! I'm set now:D No complaints whatsoever!

So....what you're saying is....benching 1.5 times your body weight 10+ times is NOT good for triathletes?! OOOOOH! :D
