grease out of clothes
I find that grease automotive "hand cleaner" creme from NAPA, like GOJO etc. or other kind when you rub it on the spot w a brush works. Worked for me. Good luck!

Yuck...I hate the smell of Simple Green. Brings back many military memories, some good some bad. I'll have to try it on Grease and see how that works.
:)
Simple green is pretty good, or just plain ERA.
Put it on and rub it in and let it soak before you wash it.
I think I'll have to try the simple green method. Given that I already use it to clean the bikes, there is plenty around. Now my bike and I can get even closer as we'll wash with the same stuff ;)

So, you can jump into the shower with your bike, and some simple green. That is hot!!

I'm telling you the 'Trifuel Girls Gone Wild' will sell :D
I just use washing up liquid (something like Fairy liquid... here in the UK anyway) and it works a treat :)

Fairy Liquid??
It may work bu, I would never live it down if any of my friends stopped by when I was doing wash and saw that.
I would have to put it in an empty bottle of something called "Really Manly Soap".
:D
Actually, "Realy Manly Soap" doesn't sound to good either...
Either sound extremely GAY to me.
( I'm not homophobic or anything, but like most triathletes, I shave my legs, that's close enough to my femenine side)

I guess 'Really Many Soap' would sound like your are trying too hard and you really do use 'Fairy Liquid'
The only way I could get away unmocked by my friends if they saw 'Fairy Liquid' at my house would be to tell them it was to wash my daughters clothes.
:D
Or you can say:
"YEAH! I'm MAN and HETROSEXUAL enough to use something like this...IT WORKS GREAT... and gives me smooth hands with a fabulous lemon-scent"

I didn't know it could make my hands smooth, and it really has a fabulous lemon scent??

I live in the Netherlands, I'm pretty sure they won't send me a VC cat. ......so I am dependent on other people's GOOD WILL.

I wonder if it is difficult to get the grease out of the thongs?
(back on topic)
I tried simple green. It got part of the grease out, but not all. The part it was most successful with was where i rubbed the simple green in more. I think it would have also helped to try to remove it closer to when it happened.
I never tried this, but for removing grease from my hands, I used TOOTHPASTE, don't blame me if your clothes get ruined in the process... although it will smell minty-fresh...
Noel.
thanks you Beads

Any one have any good ways to get grease from the chain out of clothes (both biking ones and normal)?
I heard kerosene I think... but can't remember where.
