well....everyone I said it out loud yesterday.
Hi folks. I'm Robert from Indianapolis. I wouldn't consider myself anything but a beginner. I just started doing sprints this summer. Two of them to be exact. I hadn't owned a bike since high school. I didn't even know the Y had a pool until spring.
So why did I say it?
I've ran several marathons the past 3 years.I Feel like I might be sick after each one. I'm not a rocket by any stretch. I guess I started to get bored and ended up here. I learned how to swim from this site and many like it, Had to read several articles until I could decide on which bike to consider.
So why the slip of the tongue?
I'm still trying to put a few good laps together. I still have cages on my pedals. I am awstruck at all the knowledge you all posess and very aware of how little I know. I am still learnig what questions to ask .
I think I said it because of you.
Because I have seen how you help and support each other. How you always have the right answers. How high you feel after your event. Even after going through the lowest of lows.
That's why I said it.......to commit.
I will do an Ironman event in 2007.
With your help and support.

Welcome.
Tri's get you hooked pretty fast.
We'll have to get those rat traps off your bike!
That is great that you are commited and have a goal - so now you just have to do it!
Good luck with your training and keep us up to date on how you progress.
