They're both off the bike now. Jeremy came off in 6:48:12 and Scott came off in 7:30:04. Looks like they're doing well! Hope they're having fun! :D

Scott took 15 minutes in T2 wuoooo! wonder what happened? I took 3 minutes in IMVineman and usually T2 is always fast for everybody.

Well, they've made it through the half mary point. Both had really good times! Scott did the first 13 in 2:40:50 and Jeremy in 2:27:18.

I have two friends that also completed their first Ironman in Florida yesterday.
One (a man) did it on 11:44:01.....
The other did it in 15 hours or so. She took 7:40 on the bike. I was tracking her on ironmanlive.com and was worried. She finally made it in on the bike. Her maraton was just under 6 hours, but she persevered and completed it anyway. I'm proud of her and her perseverance!!! ;)
At 20 miles of the run in the Ironman we ask ourselves why we do this. At mile 140.6, it all becomes perfectly clear.

Kudos to all involved!
An Ironman finish, regardless of time or place, is an achievement of great meaning.
In all of sport, to be able to say: "I have completed an Ironman" truly is awesome.
