New York Marathon
I'll be there on Sunday running. It's my 4th time running NY. It's a lot of fun with the huge crowds.
It's definitely a great experience to run NY and it's something that shouldn't be missed. I ran in 2001 and I'll never forget it because it was 2 months after 9/11 and the buses going to the start line went right by the world trade center and the entire race you could feel this amazing vibe. It's also a great excuse to see the entire city.

Good luck out there. I've heard it is just incredible once you enter manhatten with like 100,000 people at the end of the bridge. Maybe I will apply next year.

I've never run a marathon, but I would love to one day and definitely the NY marathon. I was born and raised there and the race goes through my old neighborhood and lots of places where friends and relatives still live. I think it would be a blast - hopefully I'll get there some day! Many years ago, there used to be a 40 mile "bike tour" through the five boroughs (like the marathon) that started and ended on Staten Island. We did it several times - it was a lot of fun - I wonder if it's still around....
Anyway, good luck to everyone racing this weekend - Ant

I am running on Sunday. I am bib#2800 - blue start.
Good luck to all those that are running.

Anyone doing the New York Marathon this weekend? Just thought I would ask...
Good luck if you are and let me know how it goes. I really want to do it sometime.
