Moving to Colorado
jeslol posted 2 years ago.
I lived in Golden and Lakewood for ~4 years. I like the western side much better than the eastern (mountains are west and plains are to the east). Golden is still somewhat isolated from Denver, but dowtown Denver is really easy to get to from there. Boulder is also an easy drive from Golden. Housing is cheaper on the eastern, because they can keep sprawling that direction. Wasn't into the tri scene when I lived there, so I'm not too knowledgable on the tri teams.

Hey guys. I thought this would be a great place to get some opinions. My wife and I are looking to make a move to the Denver area here next Spring and we have started to research neighborhoods and schools in the different cities surrounding Denver. Anybody here that that lives in the Denver area or has lived in the Denver area that could give some insight it would be appreciated. Looking for good neighborhood, housing costs not to bad, and easy access to Denver. Also, and most importantly , some good biking groups/tri groups.
Thank YOU
