Up Your Nose
Those "flippin" turns seem to cause so much inhalation of water up the nose. You have just asked the question that is very hard to answer. First answer wear nose plugs. Better still equalize the pressure in your nose , or trickle the air steadily out the nose through the turn. I have been in and out of Richmond, Vancouver areaover the last few weeks but have been concerned about my grandson who is in the cardiac ward at the Childrens Hospital otherwise would drop by and show you how to flipturn.

I just exhail out my nose throughout the turn (or at least while i'm upside down). There's always a couple of turns where i end up with my timing a bit off and cop' a nose full of chlorinated goodness
Here is the lowdown on the flip turn, are they really needed??? http://swimming.about.com/cs/startandturntec/l/aa_flip_turn.htm
