That is sweet! We have to wait a until 2006 for it since they finish shooting this October, probably to get the 2005 World Championships on it. It's like candy for little kids. :)

Okay, I'm definetely tingling.
Worked for me and it just got me pumped. I love how stuff like this just gets me going and makes me want to kick some a$$.
PAIN IS TEMPORARY, PRIDE IS FOREVER!
Whether you think you can, or you think you can't you are right!
I wish i saw this at 5am when I decided not to get up and do a morning work out. This will be great to watch on the trainer! :)
Anyone know whether this is something that will be released into local small moviehouses or whether it's a docu-drama that will likely only be available to purchase online? either way, I want to make sure I remember and don't miss it when it is released (although I'm sure someone on here will remind us all, luckily!).
I can not WAIT until this comes out. It will be nice to finally show people what goes into preparing for a race of this magnitude.

Up your nose with a rubber hose,
Peter Reids site link just say in early 2006 that it will go to film festivals.
Serialized for TV
DVD for end audiences, Marketed thru USA Triathlon Group
(How well are they going to sell thru USA Triathlon?
They are in a peeing match with WTC who owns Ironman.
and this is a documentary about Ironman)
HMMMMN???
Nothing to it, but to do it
I'm sure that the USAT sells their mailing lists through a third party. They won't turn away a paying customer. You'll probably get a postcard.

So.............. I'm not that much into new music. I mean.......................i listen to it in the radio and stuff but I never pay attention to who sings it.
Can anyone tell me what's the song on this video?? Sound like Eminem to me but I'm not sure.
Hyperactive Trifueler!!!! (I refuse to let the status go :p)

It is 'Lose Yourself' by Eminem. I have it on my iPod. Good tune to run to gets me pumped up.

sorry. I actually didn't get to HEAR the video until today .. and that just ruined it for me ... the voice-over sounds like a satire of movie man that would have been a good laugh if it wasn't intended to be serious, and I know there is no arguing tastes ... but EMINEM .... LOSE YOURSELF!?!?!?! That song was bad enough the first time around and the term "played out" comes to mind.
I wanted to be hyped about this, but the cornball factor is just too high. Maybe it's a generation thing.
This just could have been so good. Just write out the dialog in the voice over and read it back to yourself. If you don't break out in fits of laughter than you are one better than me.

I think that was how I originally found Trifuel. :)

Don't get me wrong. I'm still going to watch it. Only because I am in awe of the athletes. I'm certainly not in awe of the production staff. The John Duke interview at least saved it a bit, but this preview is only going to appeal to triathletes and aspiring triathletes. It has no broader appeal. I guess I hope for too much.
Sometimes you just want a movie to dig deeper in rationalizing your own pointless pursuits. Thereby allowing the broader audience to understand a little bit more. This preview just says to me "Ironman it's cool and people do it" ... and that's about it.
You are basing all of this opinion on a short preview?
Another movie to consider is 140 point 6. It is a documentary about age groupers doing IM LP
I see you're trying to be provocative again?? :D
Nothing to it, but to do it
That will be the fittest movie audience you have ever seen.

View a movie trailer for "What It Takes"... a movie following four athletes preparation for the 2005 Hawaii Ironman. You guessed it... Peter is one of them.
