Sciatic nerve theray
stretching lots of stretching. hamstrings in particular but glutes and lower back as well. That helped me.
I had that problem a few weeks ago and visited a doctor about it. He prescribed some anti-inflammatory medicine and recommended I have a deep-tissue massage. The deep tissue massage helped quite a bit and I also stretched my hamstrings, lower back, glutes and hips on the side.
I continue to focus on hamstrings, glutes and lower back.

I suffered real bad with sciatica a couple of years ago - did all the excersises, stretches, etc. Nothing really helped til the PT gave me a heat treatment - it was kind of like a sonogram looking machine, but they shoot the heat straight to the muscles to loosen them up and you don't feel anything. Anyway, after one treatment the pain was gone. Also, try sitting on a tennis ball - that usually helps work the muscle real good.

Does anyone know what exercise therapy I could do to diminish / avoid sciatic nerve pain ? :confused:
