Help!!

I have an Olympic distance duathlon coming up this Saturday and I am starting to wonder what I should wear. The reason is that it is starting to get cold hear in MIchigan. Its about 50 or so in the am and may get to a high of 60-70. The race starts at 10 am. My thought is if I should get some kind of tights or not.

Also, on the bike what is everyones best suggestions? I only have one water bottle cage. Should I had a second for accelerade?
thanks.

Glenn,

I actually did the same race at Stoney Creek last year. One water bottle was fine for me as the course is only four loops, plus the temps are low. Shorts are fine, however the "family Jewels" get a little cold. I would just wear some thermal underwear underneath. A long sleeve racing shirt i would recommend if you have one. If not, arm warmers for when you get on the bike. The run is not cold, but the bike is when it gets a little chilly. I will probably slip on some knee warmers just for the bike portion. when i do the race. Be prepared as the the bike course loop is very windy on the lake side. good luck.
