I have one - well it is collecting dust somewhere.
Didn't feel like it made any real difference.
I wouldn't really recommend it.

I did use it for few weeks but I did not notice any difference, I am planning to use it for longer time and see if it works.

Lung function is generally not considered to be a substantially limiting factor in cycling (or running) performance. See this link if you care about the science.http://www.cptips.com/respart.htm

"These conclusions were confirmed by another study by Fairbarn MS et al (Int J Sports Med 1991 Feb;12(1):66-70 Improved respiratory muscle endurance (RME) of highly trained cyclists and the effects on maximal exercise performance.) who set out to determine whether the RME of highly trained cyclists could be enhanced and if so, to determine the effects of improved RME on their maximal exercise performance. They concluded that 4 weeks of respiratory muscle endurance training increased respiratory muscle endurance but had NO effect on the maximal cycling performance of highly trained cyclists."

And any training your lungs need, you're going to get from your regular workout

So I guess "expand a lung" would go into that useless fitness equipment category along with the Suzanne Summers "Thigh Master" and the Ronco "Ab Master"!

I think I already had that: Does asthma qualify as a respiratory expander? ;)

just kidding, but after years of dealing with breathing problems in my teens and 20's, I can't imagine purchasing a product to make them work harder... sorry, paid my dues for that experience. :)
