I have done IMLP 2x and have no other ironman course to compare it to.
I did decide to sign up for IMWi for 2006 for a change of venue and the later date being more conducive to my training plan.
I would like some feedback from others who have done both of those ironman courses.
While looking at the course profiles it appears that IMLP would be more difficult.
However i have met two other triathletes who have done both and both say IMWi is by far much harder? I am wondering what others perceptions are about the two courses
HOnestly i was hoping wisconsin would be a bit easier!

Thanks

I've talked to people that have done both - and the consensus was that while IMLP had bigger hills - IMWI was more difficult due to the number of hills on the Verona loop. It was also said that it is difficult to get a rhythm on the IMWI course. I've ridden the course several times and will be doing IMWI in 2006 - and the loop is just a continual succession of hills - nothing really big - just wear you down especially on the second loop.
