Hi guys. In the market for new rain tires. Mine have >4000km on them. Just wanna know if there are any tires you would recommend that would be good for rain riding through the winter. I have a few prerequisites though. Basically from experience. They must have a:
1) kevlar base (surface contact w road). Kevlar bead ok, but not manditory,
2) be good in the rain and
3) must be 23 or 25mm and be clinchers.
Thanks for any help/advivce

Most of the club that I ride with in NJ rides them. Great tires. And the wet weather that I've ridden them in, which has been limited, they've been pretty reliable.

Hey,
I spent our incredibly wet summer riding and racing on them and they were excellent. I, on the other hand, am wet and cold. Thank goodness winter's around the corner and the precipitation will be solid.

Thanks for all the advice guys. I looked into getting the Michelins but they were a bit pricey as vanjames said. I would love to have them but IMC took alot out of us as a family this year. I went out and got the Vittoria Rubino kevlar tire. I have been using them for the last 2 yrs. They have been working fine. Only 34.90$ (tax included) for one.
